Behind the camera
Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 07:16AM I have been behind the camera a lot lately, this is a good thing! I have been blessed with more work these days. For the past two years my freelance business has been slow and I think we all know why. However, I did stay busy with the documentarys I was working on. This was a different type of freelancing, work spread over a course of time, not day to day work. I just finished shooting for Peconic Landing this past Saturday. Peconic Landing is an adult retirement community, well it's so much more. Peconic Landing has different retirement tiers based on one's abilities. I took my son with me to help and he was so impressed with the people we met. He had it in his mind that it was your typical adult home, but he met active vibrant people, living and loving life. You can see some of the photos I took that day (in my commerical work gallery) and see the diversity of folks and the things they do.
I have also been busy with hamptons.com they play video on there site and I have started to shoot their "Main Street Series" and "The Scoop". two shows you can see on hampton.com and I will post these at a later time. So this it what's happening behind my cameras lately.
